This is a Phase II P25 multi-state, multisubsidiary trunked system being built out by AEP to replace EDACS systems within their service territory. The subsidiaries are:

  • Appalachian Power - WV / VA / TN
  • Indiana-Michigan Power - IN / MI
  • Kentucky Power - KY
  • Public Service Company of Oklahoma - OK
  • Southwestern Electric Power Company - AR, LA, ETX, NTX Panhandle


  • Some talkgroups on this system may be using P25 Phase II TDMA modulation, which can only be monitored using a P25 Phase II capable scanner or receiver.
